The condolence resolution not presented : Ministers are not present session adjourned early!!

The Leader of the House, Mr. Susil Premajayantha arranged to not present the condolence resolution of the Member of Parliament Mr. Amarakirthi Athukorala, which was scheduled for today.

He said that although the proposal was scheduled to be presented today, the assembly will be adjourned if it is not presented.

It is very noticable that very few MPs attended the Parliament.

However, due to the fact that this proposal was to be presented, the relatives of Mr. A’s family also came to the Parliament complex today.

In the recent past, when commenting on the burning incidents of MPs’ houses, a large number of ministers from the ruling party were present in the parliament and they continued to comment on getting compensation for them.
