It is reported that the electricity bill for 2 months at the official residence of former Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake has exceeded 8 lakhs.
It has been learned that while the said amount has not been settled, the municipal council has settled the amount of more than 8 lakhs from the people’s tax on the instructions received by the municipal council.
Currently, the Colombo Municipal Council has been dissolved and placed under the control of the Commissioner.
