The Chinese embassy, in response to the bogus news about the coup and the claimed detention of the president, says it is untrue and fabricated by untrustworthy news organizations.
The embassy further adds that President Xi Jimping completed his Central Asian tour and returned, adding that under Chinese government guidelines, anyone returning from a foreign trip must undergo a quarantine period, and that the president is currently in quarantine.
