State Minister Semasinghe will lead an 8-person Sri Lankan delegation to the World Bank-IMF summit.

It has been learned that a delegation of eight Sri Lankans will attend the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which will be held in America on the 10th of next month.

This group will include the Governor of the Central Bank, the Secretary of the Treasury, and a number of high-ranking officials from those institutions.

The Minister of State, Mr. Shehan Semasinghe, has been appointed as the delegation’s leader, which surprises many.
