Sri Lanka to ban air passengers from wearing Gold jewellery of more than 22 carats

Sri Lanka has decided to ban air passengers arriving in the country from wearing Gold jewellery of more than 22 carats.

The state minister of finance announced that the decision was taken as a measure to stop gold smuggling into the country.
