The Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy announced that the government has approved the transfer of share ownership of 07 state enterprises.
The names are given below,
SriLankan Catering Company including SriLankan Airlines
Sri Lanka Telecom Plc
Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation
Canville Holdings (Pvt) Company (Colombo – Grand Hyatt)
Hotel Development Lanka Company (Colombo Hilton Hotel)
Litro Gas Terminal (Pvt) including Litro Gas Lanka Company
Ceylon Hospital Corporation P. L. C.
The State Enterprise Restructuring Unit will appoint recognized and experienced qualified consulting firms or development finance institutions to provide client advisory services to the above companies and assist in the transfer of share rights, and it is announced that the selection of such client advisory firms will begin shortly.
