The Panadura North Police has started an investigation regarding a death threat made to the woman’s husband by a police officer who is having an affair with a woman in Panadura Keselwatte.
An investigation has been started against a police sergeant attached to Wadduwa police station.
On the 27th, the woman’s husband made a complaint to the police that he was threatened with death by this police sergeant.
A senior police officer stated that the complaint was submitted to the police after an argument between the complainant’s husband and the police officer, who was an extramarital husband, when the police sergeant went to the house at Gemunu Mawatha in Keselwatte, Panadura.
