Sajith denounce govt. attempt to delay elections!

Opposition leader Mr Sajith Premadasa, in a tweet condemns government’s latest attempt to delay scheduled LG elections. He stated that democracy is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right.

He also issued a statement in this regards which is appended herewith.

The government's attempts to delay elections & subvert democracy are a blatant attack on all Sri Lankans' rights & our nation's integrity. Democracy is not a privilege; it is a fundamental right. (1/2)
