Ranil proposes to ADB the establishment of an international university!

President Ranil Wickramasinghe proposes to establish an international university on climate change in Sri Lanka with the support of the Asian Development Bank so that students from any country in the world can study.

The meeting between President Ranil Wickramasinghe and Asian Development Bank Chairman Masatsugu Asakawa was held this morning (30) at the Asian Development Bank headquarters in Manila, where the President drew attention to this.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe who arrived at the Asian Development Bank headquarters was received by the Asian Development Bank Chairman.

Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, who expressed his gratitude to the President for the emergency assistance provided by the Asian Development Bank to Sri Lanka in the past, discussed the further strengthening of the long-term relations between Sri Lanka and the Asian Development Bank.

The Chairman assured President Ranil Wickremesinghe that he will continue to cooperate with Sri Lanka.

The President also briefed the Chairman of the Asian Development Bank on Sri Lanka’s activities with the International Monetary Fund.

Meanwhile, President Ranil Wickramasinghe also engaged in a discussion with the professionals employed by the Asian Development Bank.
