Angered over being Ranil’s staunch man
A Pohottuwa parliamentarian, Premanath C. Dolawatta, says that his party hasn’t decided yet whether or not to back Ranil Wickramasinghe in the presidential election on July 20th.
The General Secretary of the SLPP Attorney at Law, Mr. Sagara Kariyawasam, had stated that the party had decided to back Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, which was vehemently rejected by Mr. Dolawatta, and said no such decision was made by the party. He further noted this is a time to work toward people’s living, leaving aside petty politics.
