QR Fuel Pass: Registration with vehicle revenue licenses will be permitted.

Vehicle owners who are unable to register for the National Fuel Pass (NFP) system using their chassis number will be able to do so starting this Friday (July 29), according to Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara.

People who ride 49CC motorcycles must first register with the Department of Motor Traffic to obtain their licences before applying for the National Fuel Pass, the lawmaker announced today on his official Twitter account.

Meanwhile, all three-wheeler owners must register their vehicles with the police station in their respective areas and choose one filling station from which to obtain fuel. According to the minister, registration of three-wheelers with the police station must be completed by July 31st.

As a result, beginning August 1st, three-wheelers will only be permitted to obtain fuel from the filling station they have chosen.

Meanwhile, Minister Wijesekara requested that all users of garden equipment, generators, and other fuel-requiring equipment register their weekly fuel requirements with their respective Divisional Secretariats and designate one filling station to obtain the required volumes of fuel.
