Public service recruitment stopped: no more enlistment exams

It is reported that the Ministry of Finance has informed the Examinations Department yesterday (23rd) not to hold any public service recruitment exams and not to release the results of the recruitment exams held so far.

A Ministry of Education spokesman said that it has not been possible to release the results of the examination held last February to fill the vacancies of aesthetics, home economics, and English teachers in schools.

The spokesman said that the examination department was not notified to release the results and that the reason for this was that recruitment would have to be done if the results were released. The move to stop public service recruitment was made following a budget proposal this year.
