Nawalapitiya Magistrate Nilantha Wimalaratne, released all protestors on bail taken into custody by the Police along with 15 people while engaged in a protest in Nawalapitiy. This included Sasanka Sampath Sanjeeva, Nawalapitiya Constituency Organizer of SJB.
The magistrate ordered them to appear before the court again on December 13, releasing each person on personal bail of one lakh rupees.
All these people were brought to the Magistrate’s office in the evening (16) by Nawalapitiya Police.
