The Kadugannava Police say that the body of a doctor of the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital was found hanging in her house.
The police also say that the doctor, a resident of Kadugannave, has been engaged in treatment in the outpatient department of the Peradeniya Hospital.
The police are investigating whether it was a crime or a murder.
