“Last year, the United States gave Sri Lanka 270 million dollars for the people most affected by the economic crisis. Also, we are working with the government to create various regulations and structural reforms for the functioning and efficiency of the economy. In the event of an economic crisis, the way forward is clear for politicians. It doesn’t seem like it. America strongly believes in finding solutions to problems by expressing opinions peacefully. Through that, Sri Lanka can be made into a free, open and prosperous country.”
