Pakistan is now on the brink of bankruptcy. It is reported that they are going to declare bankruptcy, like Sri Lanka, in the near future.
However, despite facing a severe economic crisis, it is known that Pakistan has given priority to holding elections on time.
Accordingly, foreign media have revealed that arrangements are currently being made to hold an emergency local government election in Pakistan.
The current Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif says that his government will not work to postpone the elections under any circumstances.
