Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the party leader, has announced that Mr. Mujibar Rahman, the Colombo District Member of Parliament of the Samagi Jana Balawega, will be running as the Colombo Mayoral candidate in the upcoming local government elections.
The leader of the opposition informed this at the party working committee held this afternoon.
Accordingly, it has been learned that within the next few days, Mr. Mujibar Rahman is going to resign from his position as a Member of Parliament.
