However, Indonesia has made no official statements about how this murder was carried out. The information about the murder is currently with Jakarta police, who have not yet released it to the Sri Lanka Police. This information could be obtained through domestic legal and diplomatic channels.
It is clear that Onesh, who was taken to Indonesia under the guise of a vacation by his wife. There she with her assistant has murdered Onesh and fled with their four-year-old daughter. As a result, Senior Superintendent of Police Kavinda Jayasekara, Director of Criminal Investigation Department, entrusted this investigation to a special investigation unit led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Meril Ranjan Lamahewa. The criminal investigation department discovered that, while the murder occurred in Jakarta, it was planned in Sri Lanka.

Investigators of the Criminal Investigation Department suspect that Rosalia is planning this trip to Indonesia with an insidious plan to get hold of her foreign travel passport. Realizing that this is the only way for her to get her travel passport, it is now clear that she played a big game by bringing her assistant.

That effort has failed because Onesh had the passports of these people in his possession.
