Lyca Productions, a film producer and distributor owners of  ‘Swarnawahini’ Sri Lanka, has been raided on money laundering charges.

The central investigation agencies of India raided the Lyca production company office in Chennai today, according to Indian news agencies. Money laundering and tax evasion are the charges. It has been reported that searches are taking place in their eight locations. They recently produced PS as a production company.

Subaskaran Allirajah founded Lyca Productions, an Indian entertainment company, in 2014. The production studio, a subgroup of Lycamobile, has been involved in the production and distribution of Tamil films made in India.

Lyca currently owns Sri Lanka’s swarnawahini television broadcasting company as well as other group companies of the group.

They produced PS 1 and  which was a box office hit All this is happening the Tamil Nadu capital city of Chennai
