Lankarama of Singapore pledges to help Sri Lanka’s underprivileged temples! (PHOTOS)

The President’s Secretary, Mr. Saman Ekanayake, symbolically led the distribution of aid to the Piriven in distant districts of Sri Lanka under the auspices of the Sri Lankarama Buddhist Temple in Singapore today (04).

The necessary educational equipment for the education of Thero and Duwa children obtaining education in distant parts of Sri Lanka was symbolically handed over to President’s Secretary Mr. Saman Ekanayake with the assistance of benefactors in Singapore.

The selected group will receive educational equipment in the next days.

When Mr. Saman Ekanayake was the Prime Minister’s Secretary today, he had the opportunity to give the Sri Lankarama Buddhist Temple in Singapore the opportunity to provide support for the pirwen in this country.

Venerable Karadetyana Gunarathana Thero, Vihara of the Sri Lankarama Buddhist Temple in Singapore, and other representatives from Singapore, as well as Mr. Buwaneka Herath, President’s Additional Secretary, Suren Batagoda, Senior Advisor to the President, and others, attended the ceremony.
