The Minister of Power and Energy has established a new plan for pumping fuel until the new permit plan is implemented. This scheme will go into effect immediately.
From today, motor bicycles will be able to pump only Rs. 1500, motor cars Rs.2000 and other vehicles Rs.7000. The Minister stated that this would be strictly enforced and that if this was not followed, motorists would be forced to go without pumping.
The Minister also cushioned the filling stations that if they do not comply with this, the filling stations would not be issued fuel.
