It mentioned a conversation between Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan Dzhagaryan and Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera. When the Russian ambassador came to meet Mahinda Amaraweera and was discussing, the Russian ambassador saw a photo of Julie Chang on Mahinda Amaraweera’s desk and asked about that photo. Mahinda Amaraweera then said that Julie Chung and he are in the photo, that she helped Amaraweera’s projects a lot, and that’s why her photo is there.
Mahinda Amaraweera has pointed out that there is also a photograph of the Russian ambassador, although he could not see it. After that, the Russian ambassador’s photo, which was hidden to Julie Chung’s photo, was also taken out and shown. Then the Russian ambassador said to get rid of her if Sri lanka want to protect the country.
Although the truth or falsity of this story is not clear, either Mahinda Amaraweera or Wimal Weerawansa through the Russian Embassy may have given this incident to the website. The secretary in charge of political affairs of the Chinese Embassy was also present at the launching ceremony of Wimal Weerawansa’s book.

After the publication of the book, it is also clear from the news published by the pro-Wimal website that not only China, but also the Russian embassy is with this book.
Before reading Wimal’s book, it is advisable to find out where Wimal was before the ‘aragalaya’ and during the ‘aragalaya’.
