At the cabinet meeting held yesterday (28), the proposal presented by President Ranil Wickramasinghe as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy was approved by the Cabinet.
With the aim of stabilizing the price of eggs in the local market, the State trading (Miscellaneous) Corporation has previously approved the importation of eggs and release to the local market.
Accordingly, the prices have been called from 03 companies in India recommended by the Department of Animal Production and Health.
