The main organizer of the opposition Mr. Lakshman Kiriella said that if the government arranges to hold the provincial council election, the opposition is ready to provide two-thirds majority for the necessary constitutional amendment.

Mr. Kiriella said this is only an itimation and for necessary amaendments to the constitution to hold the provincial council election we would provide necessary majority he mentioned that in the Parliament.
