The Ministry of Health encourages the public to obtain the fourth dose as soon as possible, as there have been no reports of adverse side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr. Hemantha Herath, Deputy Director of Health Services, stated that only a small number of people have received the fourth dose thus far, and urged the public to obtain the third dose as well.
He also stated that over 100 COVID-19 patients are now being reported on a daily basis, and warned that the situation would worsen if the public did not obtain the third and fourth doses.
