An official of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases said that 60 to 70 children are hospitalized every day due to viral diseases spreading in the country and health protection practices should be followed to protect children from those diseases.
The official said that many viral diseases including flu are currently spreading in the country and also mentioned that several diseases including viral fever, influenza, dengue and covid are being reported regularly.
The official further said that if people follow the health recommendations to protect themselves from the ‘Covid’ virus, they can also be protected from these viral diseases.
