The International Rugby Federation has suspended Sri Lanka’s rugby membership with immediate effect.
The World Rugby Federation has issued a statement stating that it is concerned about political interference in the game of rugby in Sri Lanka.
They also state that they have taken steps to suspend membership for violating the rules of the game.
