Did SP outfox RW and BR?

Pohottuwa and the pro-Pohottuwa media referred to Sajith as a stupid son during the 2019 presidential election. Following that, in the 2020 general election, Pohottuwa, the JVP, and the U.N.P. baptised Sajith as a fool.

This idiot son fought for 5 years, from 2010 to 2015, to be the leader of the United Nations Party or the leader of the opposition. Ranil dampened Sajith’s fight by deploying his kitchen task force.

When Ranil proposed SLFP Secretary Maithripala as the presidential candidate in the 2015 presidential election,’stupid son’ made a statement that a presidential candidate should be presented from the U.N.P. and that he would like to run for the presidential election. Ranil and his kitchen task force did not take Sajith’s five-cent statement into account.

After receiving the UNP’s endorsement for his presidential candidature, Maithripala refused to nominate the Prime Minister candidate. Ranilists, including Mangala, who defended Ranil’s leadership during the conflict between Ranil and Sajith, were strongly opposed to Ranil being nominated as the prime ministerial candidate in the Maithri presidential election at the time. Ranil, who was helpless at the time, turned to the’stupid son’. Sajith has publicly stated that Maithripala should name Ranil as his prime ministerial candidate.

Ranil considered using Sajith to defeat Maithri if he could not control Maithri. Then Ranil realised Maitri would beat Sajith and put an end to Sajith’s politics. The stupid son was creaking through Ranil’s ear at the time. He developed a close relationship with Maithripala after realising that Ranil had the greatest desire to destroy him politically. At the time, Maithri attempted to hit Ranil with Sajith.

Maithrie desired the U.N.P. presidential candidature, knowing that Ranil is determined to be the presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election. He attempted to enlist the help of Sajith. He gave Sajith the prime ministerial rope so that he could run for president in 2019 and make Sajith the prime minister. However, the foolish son did not consume that rope. He didn’t want to betray the party. On the other hand, he was well aware that if he became Prime Minister and sided with Ranil of the UNP, his political career would be over. He not only served as Ranil’s bodyguard during the 2018 coup, but he also persuaded Maithri to hand over the prime minister ship to Ranil.

Sajith ran for president in 2019, knowing it would be difficult to win. When Mahinda was the leader of the opposition in 2002, he told a journalist, “I am the leader of the opposition.” I want to be the candidate for the Sri Lanka Freedom Party in the 2005 presidential election. Perhaps I may lose!. But if I want to be the leader of the Sri Lankan Freedom Party, I need to rally the party behind me.”

When his friends asked why he was running for office in the 1994 presidential election, which he was destined to lose, Gamini Dissanayake told the same story.

If I want to be the “U.N.P. leader, I need to gather the party around me.” Gamini said.

In the 2019 presidential election, Sajith did the same. Eventually, the UNP rallied behind him. Ranil was by himself. The leadership that Ranil did not give, as well as the opposition’s leadership, he won from the people, surprising the country.

After Sajith became the leader of the opposition and the leader of Samagi Janabalawegaya, the Rajapaksa loyal media UNP and JVP accused him as a weak leader. But against a president who got 69% and a government with two-thirds power, Sajith got involved in the work of bringing people to Colombo and putting people on the streets amidst the fear of Corona.

He is the first opposition leader in Sri Lanka who took the people to the streets after a year against a president who got a mandate of 69% and a two-thirds government. He stopped the first protest near the Presidential Secretariat. The second protest was taken to the gate of the President’s office where it erupted into the burning of Gota effigies. He then dispatched a Vanita force led by Hirunika to besiege Gota’s Mirihana residence. That is how the groundwork for the struggle was laid.

When Mahinda was forced to resign as Prime Minister due to the conflict, Gota called Sajith and asked him to take over as Prime Minister. The foolish son realised Gota was attempting to make himself an enemy of the strugglers by scapegoating him for Gota’s sins and making himself a prisoner of Pohottuve and the Rajapaksas. He stated that he is unwilling to take over as Prime Minister and betray the struggle. He proposed terms for taking over as Prime Minister.

When Ranil became Prime Minister, some in his own party believed Sajith was done. Aside from Harin and Manusha, he supported the struggle and played the game so well that no other SJB MP joined Ranil.

When Gota left he was asked to run for the presidency at the time of the parliament’s election of the president, he knew he would not receive the votes of Potattuvu to become president. When Premadasa was assassinated in 1993, the opposition leader withdrew from the race, knowing she couldn’t win. However, Sajith presented a Pohottu leader from the SJB in opposition to the UNP leader presented by Pohottuwa.

He brought together the racists Wimal who brought Rajapaksas to power and the Tamil National Alliance to one platform. The number of members of the opposition was increased to 82

Every day since Ranil became president, the country’s media has published specific news. Approximately 20 SLB MPs will join Ranil. Ranil has been president for over 6 months. This news was also reported in Sri Lankan media last month. The only difference was that 20 had been reduced to 6. However, the stupid son was able to keep the SJB MPs from joining Ranil. All of these MPs are Ranil’s creations. They abandoned Ranil and gathered around Sajith, declaring that Ranil could never be president.

“There, I became the president. Come to me now…”

Even though Ranil said so, the MPs did not go. That’s how the stupid son cleared the hardest hurdle.

At the time, the foolish son had a tussle with Basil, who claimed to have seven brains, and Ranil, who claimed to have an international brain. Ranil introduced the 21st constitutional amendment to demonstrate to the world that the entire parliament is behind him by taking the pot under him and becoming an international hero. Sajith allowed it to occur.

“Ranil’s first win…”

This is how the 21st constitutional amendment was interpreted in Sri Lankan media. Sajith was well aware that 21 would enrage Ranil and Basil. He gave the SJB votes and then sat back and watched it happen. Ranil then wanted to be a hero, so he planned to change the election commission through the 21st constitutional amendment and take control of the commission in order to postpone the election. Sajith, or the foolish son, obstructed the small vote postponement effort by delaying the appointment of Legislative Assembly members. The international brain sneaked through the seven brain ears, and stupid son sneaked through these two pairs of ears.
