Colombo Gridlocked as Roads Sealed for Iranian President’s Security – Sri Lanka Grapples with Traffic Chaos

Police closed several roads today(24) for traffic to facilitate Iranian president Ebrahim Raisis visit to Sri Lanka.  

As a result, it is reported that thousands of commuters, including those who are going home after work, are in dire straits.

A meeting between the President of Iran and the President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe was held in Colombo this evening and due to this the police took steps to close many roads.
