China consents to discuss global debts crisis! Ready to discuss Sri Lanka as well!

Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, stated that China has agreed to participate in a round table discussion to discuss the global debt crisis.
Private sector creditors are also expected to attend the round table discussion convened by China, where they will exchange views on the debt crisis confronting countries such as Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, the governor of Nigeria’s Kaduna state, Mr. Nasiru El Rufai, has stated that if exchange rates are not properly adjusted and the fuel subsidy system is not abolished, Nigeria will face a severe economic crisis similar to that of Sri Lanka.

He made the remarks while attending a World Bank Nigeria Development Update.
