Before joining the government , Duminda Dissanayake, the national organizer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, has been removed from the political committee.
It is also reported that Duminda Dissanayake is hoping to get a ministerial position in the cabinet that will be sworn in soon.
However, if he gets such a ministerial position, he will lose his current position of national organizer of the party, membership of the central committee, and leadership of the Anuradhapura district.
