Deputy Solicitor General Dilipa Peiris told Colombo Additional Magistrate Mrs. T. N. L. Mahawatta that Attorney general’s opinion on wasantha Mudalige will be presented on the 1st of December.
The Deputy Solicitor General informed the court that the suspect was being investigated in accordance with Section 7(1) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act and that he was expected to report any future proceedings involving the suspect to the court in accordance with the provisions of that act.
The Deputy Solicitor General presented these facts when the case was called today (23), to release Galvewa Siridhamma Thero, who was remanded in custody, on bail as per the instructions of the Attorney General.
