Another World Cup T20 match abandoned. Afghanistan and Ireland share one point. Ireland second in group one points.

The umpires decided to abandon the match between Ireland and Afghanistan in the World Twenty20 cricket series due to rain, and due to this, both the teams playing under the first group of the Super 12 round have got a bonus point each.

Accordingly, Ireland has the opportunity to reach second place in that category by owning 3 bonus points.

Earlier, Sri Lanka was occupying the second position in that group and with this decision, Sri Lanka has gone down to the 3rd position in that group.

Afghanistan got 2 bonus points due to having to abandon the match on two consecutive occasions but lost to England and they are last in the points table.

The New Zealand team is still in the lead in the first group with 3 bonus points.
