The Supreme Court today gave permission to conduct the local government election as the Election Commission is responsible for it.
The Court pointed out that there is no need to examine the pessam as the Election Commission has the responsibility of protecting the voting rights of the people, and the Commission has assured the Supreme Court that the election will be held.
