A contentious admission from the chairman of the Food Safety Committee According to Dr. Suren Batagoda, chairman of the Food Security Committee, 100,000 families in this country are starving because they cannot get food every day.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that 75,000 families are unsure of what they are eating on a daily basis, and 40,000 families get their nutrition from saline.
