DIG Ajith Rohana commence an inquiry in to the incident
Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, attorney at law Ajith Rohana says that an investigation will be initiated against the senior police officers who pressured the 44-year-old Keerthi Kumara Batagoda not to arrest who is accused of abusing students.
This ‘Kattadia’ was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department on the 11th in connection with the incident.
It had been reported that after the arrest of the suspect in the Criminal Investigation Department, many of the highest police officers in the Southern Province had pressured the officers to release the suspect.
