The new political alliance, formed by the union of 10 parties independent from the government, is scheduled to be unveiled on September 4.
Its chairman is Mr. Wimal Weerawansa. The event is scheduled to be held at the Maharagama Youth Council premises. Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Tissa Vitharana, G. Weerasinghe, and old Sama Samaj party leaders are also tiped to join this alliance.
