56.8 % Sri Lankans willing to migrate – A Survey reveals

A survey has revealed that 56.8 percent of the people in Sri Lanka are willing to leave Sri Lanka and live in another country.

This has been revealed in a recent survey conducted by the Center for Alternative Policy.

And 41.5 percent of the people have not expressed their desire to leave Sri Lanka.

The most important fact is that 77.2 percent of those between 18-29 years of age have expressed their desire to leave Sri Lanka and live in another country. 22 percent expressed disapproval.

Only 45.4 percent of people over 30 have expressed their willingness to leave the country, and 52.5 percent have said that they will not leave the country.
