ENZO VOOD is a Sri Lankan electronic music producer/DJ, artist, and event promoter.

ENZO VOOD, born Sameera, is a well-known electronic music producer and DJ in Sri Lanka. Born in the 1990s and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital, he found early inspiration and refuge in the local electronic rave scene. Beginning as a mobile DJ, he steadily built a reputation in the industry due to his charismatic approach, fine-tuned selection, and for being ahead of his time. Since 2009, he has steadily built a following and has taken over many residencies at well-known nightclubs in Sri Lanka.

After a decade as a DJ, he decided to give his career a fresh start in the beginning of 2017. As someone who is known for being ahead of his time, he quickly realised the value of having alias projects, and thus ENZO VOOD was born. And he took his career to the next level by launching his own productions and signing with an international record label for his first single in the progressive house genre. And that was the start of his new path, and he continued to produce, enter more labels, and keep his name there. ENZO VOOD has amassed an extensive repertoire of gigs, festivals, and tours around the world in such a short time as a persona in the electronic dance music industry. He has emerged as one of Sri Lanka’s most wanted DJs in the underground music scene with his eclectic selection inspired by electronic dance music genres Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Organic House, and its sub-genres.

ENZO VOOD began his debut international tour in GOA, India with a two-show tour and quickly established himself as an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. He has opened for internationally renowned artists and musicians such as Guy J, Stan Kolev, Emi Galvan, Dj Ruby, The Yellowheads, Praveen Achary, and has shared the stage with Cid Inc, Darin Epsilon, Matan Caspi, Weird Sounding Dude, Navar, Ben Coda, and many more.

ENZO VOOD has been able to reach a wider audience as a frequent invitee for guest mix shows around the world. Starting with his Mixcloud Podcast “DESTINY,” followed by early support from YES FM Sri Lanka, paved the way for many more guest mixes to follow.
