“Bangladesh – Sri Lanka Bilateral Trade & Investment session” at the National Chamber
Sri Lanka Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka
is organizing bilateral trade & investment discussion between Sri Lanka & Bangladesh on Thursday, 24

November 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium, No. 450, D.R.
Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10. High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka, His Excellency
Tareq Md Ariful Islam will be the Special Guest Speaker and the session will be assisted by Mr. Md.
Reyad Hossain, Counsellor (Political).
The participants will get an opportunity to have a close dialogue with the High Commissioner of
Bangladesh.
The overall purpose of this meeting is to discuss the current trade environment, investment opportunities/
services, policies and other important information with the view to promote and strengthen bilateral trade
and investment between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Electrical machinery and equipment and parts, Plastics, Knitted or crocheted fabrics, Special woven
fabrics, Aluminium, Iron and Steel, Wadding, felt & nonwovens special yarns, Man-made filaments, Soap,
